These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Pako Plant Care, including plant scanning, care guidance, and optional premium subscription features.
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Pako Plant Care, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
App Description
Pako Plant Care is a plant identification and plant care app. The app can help you scan plants, view plant details, track care records, set reminders, and access optional premium features.
No account is required to use the app's core functionality.
Plant Identification Disclaimer
Plant identification, health checks, and care suggestions are informational only. They may be incomplete or inaccurate. The app does not guarantee perfect identification, diagnosis, treatment, or plant recovery.
Informational Use Only
Pako Plant Care is not a substitute for professional horticultural, agricultural, or botanical advice where such advice is needed. You are responsible for using your own judgment before acting on any result or recommendation shown in the app.
No Guarantee of Accuracy
We do not warrant that the app, plant identification results, care guidance, or other content will always be accurate, available, or fit for any particular purpose.
Free Trials if Offered
If a free trial is offered for a subscription plan, you will see the trial length before purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
Billing and Auto-Renewal
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple Account settings.
- Subscription availability, prices, and billing periods may vary by region.
Cancellation
You can cancel a subscription in Apple Account settings. Canceling a subscription stops future renewals, but you keep access until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple where applicable. We do not control Apple’s refund decisions.
Restore Purchases
If you change devices or need to recover access, use the app’s Restore Purchases feature. The app checks your Apple subscription and RevenueCat entitlement state to restore premium access when available.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the app to:
- Abuse, disrupt, or overload the app or its services.
- Reverse engineer or attempt unauthorized access to the app or its systems.
- Use the app for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
- Upload content you do not have the right to use.
User Content / Plant Photos if Applicable
If you choose to scan or save plant photos, you remain responsible for the content you submit. Plant photos may be processed to provide plant identification or health-check results. If you save a photo to a plant record, the image is stored on your device as part of that record.
We do not intentionally store uploaded scan image bytes on our servers. However, the plant identification provider or related infrastructure may process the image to return results.
Intellectual Property
The app, its design, branding, code, and non-user content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature, pricing, or part of the app at any time, subject to applicable law. The app may not always be available, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
Disclaimer
The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the app.
Privacy
Our collection and use of information is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page and make the updated Terms available here.
